Re: black screen

Basically, you have "Bricked" your system. If you turn off the psp, or remove the game while it is UPDATING, this is what happens. You can send it to Sony, or find someone in you area that can fix it. There is a jump starting program out there that can fix the PSP. It is called Pandoras Battery.

Cant off the psp go and still on screen is please wait..cant go to the menu

It seems like your Psp Go has gotten stuck on that screen. The only valid way to fix this is to either:
  • Wait for the Psp to Die. Just let is sit and it will run out of power eventually.
  • Pull the battery out of the Psp which will cut the power. Then place battery back in and turn on.
Thank you for using FixYa! =) If I helped, please give me a rating.

When i turn my psp on the power button goes green but the psp does not turn on.

Sounds like a processor error. Try CPR in NYC. They usually have a 1-3 day turnaround time, and are pretty cost effective. You can easily ship them your unit. They repair playstations, xboxes, etc. Fast and cheaper than the manufacturer.

Psp will not come on and it has a new battery in

well it sounds to me like you need a pandora battery because your psp lost alot of memory. you can find one in a gamestop or walmart or radioshack. and taget too. and when u get, turn the psp on and let the psp load up it memory.

Yes it can be repaired by replacing the LCD screen but its quite expensive around 50 to 80 dollar I think. If PSP LCD screen made in China available in your area it would be cheaper than the original.

Hi Trollsheva,

Your LCD screen has a lost connection internally. I have seen this a few time over the last few months. You will need to get a new LCD screen for your PSP installed. I recommend even if your technically endowed, that you get an experienced person to do this. The PSP is very tricky and delicate. Click on "repair Directory" at the bottom of this screen, then Select "Video Game Consoles" Pick a Repair shop that has replaced PSP LCD screens before.

Psp 2006 battery

You don't have a problem; the seller is an idiot. Leave it plugged in for good measure, but your PSP is fine.

Many products ship with a completely discharged battery (many cellphones, for instance) and they must charge for a long time. PSPs don't; they ship with a partially charged battery.
