Audio drivers

Try re-installing the audio driver.
The same model Lenovo can have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless you know exactly which one is installed in your Lenovo, you need to download all the drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver. When you download the drivers, write down the device driver and it's file name so you have a record of which driver you are installing and which directory the unzipped files are located on your hard drive. Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEB site - support/download page and download the latest Windows device drivers for your model computer, Use this link: -

I can not listen sound

Check your sound and audio properties to make sure the volume is turned up and not on mute.

Click Start/Control Panel and look for audio or sound in the control panel. Open it and adjust the volume, and make sure it is not on mute.

You can also get to audio properties by clicking the megaphone at the bottom right near the time.

Try using the VLC Player. It comes with drivers and codec. I've seen it solve many audio or sound issues.

Try using VLC as your player. Go to and in the search box type "download vlc" (without the quotes). Look for the Video Lan download from site Download and install it. It downloads and installs in 3 minutes or so. It's a very fast player, smooth and it can play just about any type of dvd formats and media. It's totally FREE.

Choppy Video? What do you mean choppy video? Is the video starting and stopping rather than playing continuous? If so, either you need more memory or the site you are watching the video from is slow. Also sometimes you line speed on the computer might be slow if you are watching the video online.

How does the video play if you played a DvD in your computer? If it plays the DvD without stalling, then your problem is more than like the site you are watching or the line speed as you stream the video.

When i play a movie and use my itunes the sound is choppy do you know what the poblem is because i cant hear anything do i possibly need a sound card ?

If you are viewing/listening on line and it does that but not when you play a DVD or tune from a disk, you have a slow internet connection problem. If it does it when playing a Video/Tune from a disk, download a newer audio driver from your manufacturers web site after downloading the latest Windows update.
Hope that helps.

When I go on to a site and click audio the sound is intermittent e.g. a few words then stop and start

You encounter that issue when you have connection problems. This is what we call "buffering". It tries to download the audio first so that you can continuously play it. It is like downloading a file, when the connection is intermittent, the downoad stalls. You need to check the bitrate for the audio you are playing. If it is set to a high rate like 128kbps and you only have minimal bandwidth, provide feedback to the site owner and share with them the issue on the buffering audio.

How do I download and audio file to another site. I work for an academic research at the University of B.C that is connected to the Museum of Anthropology. I want to download an audio video from the B.C...

You have to download the file from the B.C. Studies Quarterly site and then use an File Transfer Protocol (FTP) client to upload it to RRN site. Unless you know the username and password for the RRN site, you won't be able to do that by yourself. Contact the Webmaster for RRN to get access or have him upload it for you.

Pv-L750 camcorder

I have a Panasonic camcorder PV-L750D-K

You will need to purchase Pinnacle Video Transfer.

It's expensive, but it's the most convenient way to transfer analog video (via a USB flash stick or external hard drive) to view and edit on a PC.

I have used this device with my Panasonic PV-L750D-K Palmcorder (camcorder) with success.

A few things to keep in mind:

a.) The Pinnacle Video Transfer converts the the video into MPEG 4 format - so you will need the Apple QuickTime viewer to view the videos on your PC.

b.) You will need to purchase a USB flash stick, a min of 4GB (I use an 8 GB flash stick), unless you have one already.

c.) Your flash stick should be formatted to FAT 32

d.) You will need the Audio/Video cable that came with your Panasonic camcoder (the supplied A/V cables that come with the Pinnacle Video Transfer are incompatible with the Panasonic camcorder).

e.) You will need to update the Pinnacle Video Transfer with the latest firmware update (available from the Pinnacle Support Site) before you hook everything up.

The rest is a no brainer. Just follow the instructions in the booklet, or view the tutorial videos on the pinnacle web site for more info.

Have fun.
