Try to use odbc and create link in ms. access.
or you can extract it to csv file and then import it to access.

Payroll can mean two different things. Mainly it is used to describe the salaries that go to employees but it can also refer to the list of employees that are receiving salary.

If I will create a program using Visual Fox Pro 7, up to how many concurrent users can connect to the database that will have acceptable response time of 1 to 2 seconds?

That depends on several factors, from the characteristics of the network, to the way in which the application was developed. Windows hosts also has its limitations, for example, XP has a limit of 10 concurrent connections.
Best regards.

Please give me the procedure how to import foxpro files in tally 7.2

To import data from a FoxPro database, use the Microsoft Visual FoxPro ODBC driver. To do so, follow these steps:
1) Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2) In Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools.
3) In the Administrative Tools window, double-click Data Sources (ODBC), and then add a new ODBC data source for your FoxPro database or tables by selecting the appropriate Visual FoxPro driver.
4) Start Access, and then open your Access database. 5) On the File menu, point to Get External Data, and then click Import. 6) In the Import dialog box, click ODBC Databases in the Files of type list. 7) In the Select Data Source dialog box, click the Visual FoxPro data source that you created in step 3, and then click OK. 8) In the Import Objects dialog box, click the tables that you want to import, and then click OK.

Code for find the Ms access database size using visual basic

The way to get the database size is to point to the directory that the database is do a DIR statement with an output to a file as in DIR payroll.mdb>dbsize.txt and then read from the text file, the first field of the second line being the name (which you really don't need) then the size value of the database.

To import the text files using VB 8 use

'Imports System.Data.OleDb Dim conn As New OleDbConnection("Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=d:\path\filename.mdb") Dim cmd As New OleDbCommand("SELECT * INTO [import] FROM [Text;Database=d:\path;Hdr=No].[dbsize.txt]", conn) conn.Open() cmd.ExecuteNonQuery() conn.Close()
