Question about Singer CE-100 Futura Computerized Sewing Machine
While embroidering a pattern my machine stopped and an error message came onto the screen saying the pattern was too large for the hoop. I had just done the same pattern with same measurements on same hoop. Now I can not get the slider arm to move when the machine is turned on, even when trying to do another pattern. The same error message comes up all the time. This did occur just as I had touched the hoop tightening screw to tighten it and a static spark from walking across the carpet jumped from my finger to the screw. Any ideas as to what may have occurred and if damage may have happened to the machine computer interface. My computer works just fine except in the Futura program. Would Re-downloading the original Futura program be a solution? Help!?
You can try re-loading the program, it is possible the static spark has corrupted one of the chips if this is the case and the re-loading does not fix the problem then I am afraid you need the services of a sewing machine tech.
