I have FTA Reciever that showed is Searching for Signal and noting else in the Screen,but the Channel Number it showed and that was the Channel for the Oversea. I can not go to CNN Channel or others. I have VIEWSAT PVR 7000

you have to upgrade the firmware & key codes and i am assuming your satellite is working and pointing at the right direction
