Cd drive xhnge

On the front of the CD rom there is a small pin-size hole, carefully put a drawing pin into the hole and it will open the CD drive manually, if it doesn't read disks anymore consider replacing your CD drive

My cd drive wont open or read disks anymore what can i do to fix this?

If its not reading your CD any longer, you will need a new CD Rom drive. If it not opening either, the power to it needs replaced which is the whole unit.

The d drive has disappeared from my laptop. how

You have to create a Partition and make a new "logical drive" . Right click my computer then select manage. Select Disk Management and then click and right click on your C drive and select create new drive. DONT CLICK FORMAT or u will erase your whole hardrive. But usually your D drive is your cd-rom or dvd drive so i dont really understand that

In the front side of the dvd drive you will see a small hole to eject that cd put one niddle in that hole and .
Now press the button at just after that apply a force on niddle .suddenly you will notice that cd will come outside ,if not try more times and you will learn to eject the cd when you are unable to do it by pressing the eject button...

Cd-rom/dvd-rom door won't open

Hi!This is not a big problem...All you have do is take a pin, needle or something and just insert it into the small hole near your cd-rom drive..try this repeatedly while pressing the eject button..If it doesn't work you will have to unscrew the two screws on the right of your keyboard..doing this will give you the access to the cd tray and you can remove the cd and put it back together..
