TLP-B2 projector lamp problem

posted by precisesound on Jan 28, 2008

When I turn on my lcd projector the lamp flashes three or four times then goes out. The on lamp indicator and lamp indicator go from steady green to steady red. Does this mean the bulb is bad or the bulb can not start. I figured if the bulb is bad then the unit will try to pulse start it with small flashes of light emittance then go out. Does anyone have any technical info or ideas as to whether the bulb is bad or if the unit is faulty.
