First check for the coolant/fluid leakage from the picture tube on to the signal board. Wipe it with paper towel and dry it will the hair dryer. I hope there's no corrosion yet.

Its a mitsubishi ws-55413 projection tv. the tv stopped receiving the remote funtions.

Have the remote tested alone--all shops can do this and if it tests good suspect the remote receiver in the set (usually is dead center behind the screen in the middle above the lens.

Mitsubishi Medallion 1080 WS-55413 - colors not aligned

There is no "reset" as the set has in the customer and tech menus ways to attempt to manually adjust this.

under convergence in the customer menu select advanced and follow the instructions on the screen.

If Red or Blue or Green are skewed and will not adjust it means one of the two STK-394-250 CONVERGENCE chips this set uses is bad.

Depending on where you buy them they will range in price from about 12 dollars each to nearly 35 dollars each.

Let me know what you find; this may or may not be a do it yourself repair as some real expertise is required to correctly get at and replace the chips.

My 55413 flashes from black screen to normal. It

Howdy,
The control buttons may be getting stuck. Try this:
1. Remove front speaker grill
2. Disconnect the two cables that are sticking out of the top of the inner cover. The TV will still work with remote. If that helps replace switches, control board not available. Part Number 432P109010 quanity 9.

Hope this helps, big IRISH.
