Question about Washing Machines
Belt is worn but i cannot figure out how to replace it

You have to loosen the mounting bolts on the motor (of course after you unplug it) and there should be a little play in it. You then use a prybar or large flathead to gently pry off the pully and installation is just the opposite. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN BELT. It will cause a lot of friction and will make it fail faster. Leave about 1/8" of give on it ( you can push it in about an 1/8" in middle of either side of belt after tightening the mounting bolts) and rub down inside of belt with bar soap to dress the belt to keep it from squeaking. Hope this helps.
