I am trying to connect my sansa sandisk e250. Computer now says it can't find software. (wants tango digital media platform) I was given player as a gift-don't have any original software. we are in africa,...

I don't know how different the software is in the africa version of the E 250 (i have one in america though) and there is a work-around for older computers (windows XP and lower). Turn on your player, go to settings, and scroll down until you see "USB mode". Try selecting MSC instead of MTP then connect. If that doesn't help, then go to the offical website and download the drivers from them.
