Should fit directly into the focuser, just like the other eyepiece.

Elbow mirror for a Cstar telescope

These diagonals as they are called are nearly all 1:1, that is, no magnification. They are only used to turn the image right way up, and give you a comfortable view from the side.

If you want a bit more magnification you can either get eyepieces with a shorter focal length, eg 15mm or 10mm

http://www.optcorp.com/product.aspx?pid=724-2247&kw=&st=0

or magnifying Barlow lenses, which go in between your KE20 and the scope.

I would recommend one or two more eyepieces. Bear in mind that there is a limit to magnification your scope will support before the image goes all fuzzy. Your current EP gives 550/20 = x27 magnification. To get x100 you would need an EP about 5mm. This will be about as much as your telescope will support.

So I'd buy 2 more EPs, one about 5-6mm, and one about 10-12mm.

I lost the manual. how does it work ??!!! i think i've lost some eyepieces as well.

This is a very simple REFLECTOR style telescope. The reviews are very bad-- see this:
http://www.amazon.com/Cstar-Stratus-UB-3700-Reflector-Telescope/dp/B00025VYO4

Simply put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser and practice focusing during the day time on a distant object. There is no manual for this scope anywhere on the internet-- it is a very cheap low cost imported telescope.

Also the tripod is way too small and shaky.

How do I put together the eye piece

The eyepiece is NOT MEANT to be dis-assembled. If you took it apart no one can tell you exactly how to re-insert the glass elements inside.

I recently bought a Cstar Optics T45375 from a garage sale. it seems one of the inner scopes inside the eye piece is missing. is there anywhere i can go to see if it is missing and if so where can i get a...

Inner scope??? you mean the eyepiece (s) are broken. Measure the hole eyepieces come in 3 sizes, .965, 1.25, and 2 inch sizes.

The .965 eyepieces are very difficult to find as most amateur telescopes use the 1.25 inch size.

Try Telescope Warehouse or Agena Astroproducts for a replacement eyepiece:

Don't ever buy another off brand telescope at a garage sale that you know nothing about.

Hi i'm looking for a manual for a cstar stratus UB-3700 76mm telescope can you help?

You will not find a manual. BUT you do not need one.

This is a very simple reflector telescope on an Alt Az mount. Easy to move uop or down and left and right.

The eyepieces simply go into the focuser. The Larger the number written on the eyepiece the LESS the magnification.

Take the scope outside during the daytime and practice focusing on a distant object using the eyepiece with the largest number.

The manual WILL NOT tell you how to find those small dim objects in the sky. It's just assembly instructions. It does not tell you how to become an amateur astronomer.

Locate a local Astronomy club and seek advice from the members, who will be glad to help you with your telescope.

I have a TASCO telescope model 40-114675 incompletely assembled

Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser. I believe you have a REFLECTOR style telescope with a 3.5 inch mirror in the bottom.

Point the focuser end toward a distant object and practice focusing during the day time.

Later you can try the higher power eyepieces with the SMALLER numbers written on them. I belive one of the long pieces is a finder scope that mounts on top. AND the other is a 2x barlow which multiplies the eyepiece power by a factor of 2 times. Don't use the barlow. You will not need it.

The image will be upside down, which is normal for an astronomical telescope.

I have the 40-060660 microscope and have it almost put together-- except for the barlowe lens and erecting eyepiece. I just can't figure out what goes where?

You mean TELESCOPE not microscope.

Do NOT use the 2 x barlow.

Put the diagonal into the telescope, then put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the diagonal. Go outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object.

Read my TIPS on my profile page.

Need a manual or directions to put telescope together

The eyepieces have numbers written on them-- the bigger the number the LOWER the magnification. Start with the eyepiece with the BIGGEST number-- practice focusing the scope during the daytime on a distant object..,..... once you do.. switch eyepieces .... and see how much closer everything looks.

I can't see out ofscope

An inverted image is what you should see. Astronomical telescopes show an upside down image in the eyepiece. If you want to use your scope terrestrially you can add an erecting prism at the eyepiece.

This is a simple refractor telescope-- PUT the diagonal into the focuser and then put the eyepiece into the diagonal-- that's all there is too it! :)

Practice focusing during the day time on a distant object.
