When i loaded the videos form my didgital camera onto my computer, the sound didnt work. I couldnt hear the sound when i played the videos back an my camera and i also cant hear it on the computer.
My camera does that too. I'm begining to think it's suppose to do that...I thought this was a rare problem but I guess that's just how the camera operates. Sorry this is not a solution.

try restarting your computer and copy it again. if that doesn't work, its probably the file type of the video, try converting it to another video type.
Check your menus. Look for sound on, sound off or some such option. Most digital cameras have an internal option in the menus to turn off the sound. Also there should be options to make various parts of the camera sounds to be louder or softer. these are usually for start, shutter button, and others. Hope it works.
The ViviCam T027 does not record sound in video mode. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer, but you cannot record one on the camera.
I know that wasn't the answer you wanted to see, but there it is.
Hi Rachel regarding your concern actualy theres no speaker on your camera thats why your not able to hear the sound., you can only hear the souds of your video if you download it on your computer. Most of C-series camera of kodak doesnt have speaker they only have the Mic for you to able record a sounds., Gudluck!
um, maybe your computer doesnt show it, because that had happened to me, howver with a camera sd card.
what i did, was check my sd card to see if it was locked, but beacyse i do not have a km900 i wouldnt know if there is a switch that says lock. check.
then if it is not that, it is the computer. you have to plug it in a cable onto a differetn computer, and then hopefully it will pop up and show! hope this helped! =]
if you need to get rid of logitech go into device manager devices
make sure cam is compatible with operating system
Set cam up with skype
Go to TOOLS, then OPTIONS, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card. Then click on the Video Settings. The camera if installed properly will come up and show a picture. Then on the bottom of the page click on Save.
hope this solves
Did you have sound before?
If yes then follow this for xp:
Start/control panel/Sounds, Speech, & Audio Devices/Sound & Audio Devices. Is page greyed out? If yes then most likely its your sound card or on board sound, or your missing drivers.
If not greyed out go to "Sounds" tab, click on any "Program events" sound under Windows then click little black arrow next to browse on bottom right . Sound? If the arrow is greyed out then its the same; audio hardware device or audio driver.
If there is still no sound click on "Hardware" tab and first Sound, video and game controller then "properties". This will tell you under "Device status" if this device is working properly. Do this for each Sound, video ect.... selection in the list. I have found there are usually 6 listings. If not then you are most likely missing a sound driver.
You have just about answered your own problem. If you can hear sound on other computers and also on TV, then the camera is sending out sound. You should be downloading the video to your laptop with a USB cable. Make sure that you use the same cable on your laptop that you used to download on other computers. In the worst case you could get a card reader with USB and remove your memory chip from the camera and load it into the Card reader. That should solve the sound loss. I have also seen a laptop that would make sound when windows opened up but would not play a music CD. You might want to test your laptop with a music cd before you buy anything!
I've got the same problem, didnt notice it working on XP though, i'm on vista and became really dissapointed when i discovered the lack of audio on the videos... think im about to throw this camera out the window.
