What lights are on in the display, it is most likely an error, possibly a thermal fuse. By the date posted, I imagine you already have solved this issue.

If the thermostat is set too low it may have ended up off, and still leave the lights working. Otherwise the compressor may be the issue. There is a starter relay on it's side, but when that goes the fridge usually cycles. It tryes to start, trips the thermal breaker, and after it cools off it repeats. If it is not off it may be time for a technician to check continuity in the thermostat, compressor, and wiring.

Hi Kim, Before you check out the link below, Read about your refrigerator not cooling? Is your older or newer model refrigerator plugged in, getting power, the lights are on inside but the fridge will not cool and the freezer won't freeze? If your refrigerator or freezer has suddenly stopped cooling and the freezer won't freeze, we have multiple solutions for you.If you hear a clicking sound coming from the back of your refrigerator/freezer, then the problem is most likely the compressor is overheating or not getting proper power and will not start. The compressor is the component on your refrigerator that allows your refrigerator to cool. If this component is not working properly your refrigerator will stop cooling. Most of the time the compressor is not the component that has failed.

Vent freezing up in fridge side

Isn't it fanned? The fan should blow cold air into the fridge. May be seized or iced up. Defrost, check and clean condenser, run to check.

Fridge won't cool but freezer working fine

Its defrost problem, the freezer should cool, then freeze, then defrost cycle should start. In your case freezer is cooling, then freezing, but its not defrosting. That's why fridge section is not cooling.-------

Your fridge operates like that: a compressor liquefies freon vapours; this creates heat so the hot liquid goes thru a cooling radiator with a fan on it (these 2 elements are at the rear bottom of the fridge) the freon fluid goes to an evaporator, turns to vapour and absorbs heat in the process, cooling the evaporator; a fan blows air over the evaporator and spreads the cooled air all over the fridge; the vapours return to the compressor.
In the rear of the fridge you should make sure that the radiator is clean and the fan working; inside the fridge you should make sure that the evaporator is not covered in ice and/or dirt and its fan is working. If necessary clean both.
If they are clean , the fans work but the evaporator isn't cold then either the freon circuit has sprung a leak and all the fluid has been lost or the compressor isn't working - to find out which just put your hands on the compressor : if it's hot and vibrates the fluid has been lost, if it doesn't vibrates then the compressor isn't working.
The compressor isn't working because either the thermostat or itself have failed. To find out which the compressor will have to be powered directly from the mains: if it starts then the thermostat must be replaced, if it doesn't the compressor will.
To fix the freon circuit or to replace the compressor a certified professional is mandatory, you must call one.

Freezer appears to be working, but not the refrigerator section - at most that will only get to 50 degrees. Manually switching to propane makes no difference.

Sounds like your cooling fan is out. If the freezer is fine and the fridge isn't, then the cooling fan isn't blowing the cold air the the fridge. Or you could have ice obstructing the airflow.
