- I have an ESA DVD and tried using a GE universal remote. First I used the remote's search code procedure to get DVD to turn off. Than there is a procedure with this GE universal remote to find the 3-digit code. I did that procedure and found 3-digit code. Unfortunately not all buttons on remote work properly but I can turn on/off, play, stop, pause. Enough to not have mutiple remotes.Good Luck - Guest

As this is not a Toshiba, I can't help you.
esa is not a popular brand name and it is unlikely you will ever find a code for it.
If you want to use a universal remote, you should buy well known brand names, not obscure ones.
Did you loose the remote for this unit? Just use the remote it came with.
