Question about Dell Inspiron 9200 Notebook
I thought my battery died but shouldn't I be able to use computer if it is plugged in and getting juice? Seems like it won't hold a charge and even when plugged in will not stay on.
Try taking the battery out of the laptop, and see if it will power up. If not it is possible that your power cord died - and your battery may be just fine.
For reference, I've seen plenty of Dell's with dead power cables.
