Hello Bogdan, reseting and firmware upgrade will not help. Replacement of the flash unit is the only solution. Price for the flash unit is 50 Euro (for my account). If you need more info, please advice. Arpi

Not sure what you mean? You have 16 single shots one after another Now what do you want to do? Turn the camera back to single shot? Read the Manual -Full manual in PDF format on disk Do something with the shots themselves? Use image editor in computer Do none of these? Try another way of putting the question

This is eather caused by a bad flash circuit or a bad mainboad. Repair cost around 65.00 to 75.00 to repair.

Have you tried resetting all settings on the camera? On a Sony camera, it is called "initialize". The initialize setting is found by going to the menu, and tabbing down until you find an option called either "reset settings" or "initialize settings" and then confirm it.
Many times that will fix the issue, in case something has either been enabled/disabled on accident, or the software is sticking (which happens from time to time)

according to sony support you should try first to reset your camera to the default factory settings. You can find the article here:
and here is the manual for your camera:
If you look into page 131 of the manual you can find your problem, and on page 85 is described the reset procedure: you should go to menu/settings/main settings/initialize/ then OK
Let me know if this helped you. Bye
