PSP freezes and shuts off when trying to start a game, psp phat 3000, 5.03

to unbrick your phat psp you need a pandora battery. are you in uk?? if so email [email protected] and ill try and help you

what psp ver is it phat or slim. if it is a phat (1000) then you will need a pandora battery.

8GB is not support for PSP Phat (3.40oe-a) which it appears that you have. To be able to use a 8GB memorystick you must update your firmware to 3.90m33+ (click on firmware link, download to PSP)
8gb is now compatible in 3.90 even if your psp is Phat\Slim

"Actually, I've messed with the slim Pandora in the Phat PSP's. You don't need to trim anything, just slide the head first into the battery slot and you will have to hold it in while its installing.

Also, if you are trying to use a slim Pandora battery, you will need to plug the Phat PSP into the AC adapter for it to work. The slim battery will not boot the Phat PSP on its own."

well im happy to say that 1000 series are easy to mod! Here is the Deal!

Sony discovered that they could repair a psps firmware and functions using the battery to by-pass the security features! What this tells us is that we can install custom firmware on a psp!

So you have to make ur phat psp battery into a pandoras battery! here is the issue with this! I never made my battery into a panodra! i had a friend mod my psp! in that process he made my phat battery into a pandora battery! so now alli do, is install the pandora files which this site help me get!

this site also provides all the tools you need t mod ur psp! what im concered about is that the program it provides to make a ur battery into a pandoras may not be able to work until you install modded software! understand.... the program works on mine only because i installed the modded software with pandora battery then ran to make other phats pandora batterys! so yo u have to make a pandoras battery try to find programs that run and will intsall pandora files ofr a phat battery threw usb connection on the psp

well ur asking a lot here. 3004 arent that easy. sony is making sure people like me.. or us and my friends cant use the handy software provided by coders and hackers[thank them] well from my expertise i was lucky in that the person who first modded my psp 1001 had to turn my psp phat battery into a pandoras battery. His slim psp was already modded with a method he claimed and showed me that he cut one corner of a chip in the battery case which let him run the update software to mod it.. so with his software on his slimn psp and a computer program that installs pandora files threw usb connection he made my battery into a pandoras which i still have.

So know i can use it to mod psps!!!!!! and i have software that can turn phat psp batterys into pandoras no problem. i just put that batterty in mine phat psp 1001 and run the program pandora installer providedby ppdv1.0 and usedbattery options and hit pandorize battery. i tryed using a slim battery on my phat and that damaged the battery and had to buy my friend a new one..

So what im trying to get to is if you can get a pandoras battery then i can help you,.

my friend has a Slim psp 2001 and i put the same modded software and the same process with my phat and it worked! so as long as you get a pandoras battery then you can run the software!!!

ok so i did this 1. got "net framework version 2.0" and run it! find it by using google! 2. I then installed the psp pandora deluxe version 1.0 like stated in the website 2. find the Officail firmwares OFW 1.50 OFW and 4.01 OFW.. there are plenty of good sites just google each firmware.

then start psp pamdora deluxe and make sure ur psp is connected threw usb connection and make sure you know the drive name of the psp and select the it and then go to 1.50 and chose the eboot file and then 4.01 eboot file and then check them and then check 1.50 noonz downgrader and the despertar cemtrenio v6 [4.01 mm33 2] and then set dcv6 to the left button and the others as you plz and then check format memory stick and then hit other options and check add 4.01 m33 1.50 addon and then check suppot tolls for pandora and then support for xmb and the chose to run and hit yes and wait and now you have a magic stick which now needs a pandoras battery like mine to use

so you need to find out how to make a slim battery into a pandoras batterty without help from a phat battery. try looking up ways to make a pandoras batterty using a program that runs while ur psp is in usb connection and then the program asks for what drive your psp is and you selct it and then run it accordling .. sorry so much info

Hold the off button until it completely shuts down then hold the right shoulder/trigger button and at the same time turn the psp on! Hope this works for you!!

Stop messing with your PSP's recovery settings and just play normally. Changing 2 or mroe settings that are incompatible can mess up protocols inside the PSP os.

you have to have a pandora battery.
