Error Message on Zen Creative VPlus Player...

Receiving error message....NO LICENSE TO PLAY..SYNC LICENSE FROM PC...need fix and solution...need detailed step to step instructions to correct...I am computer illiterate...Thank you

    Thanks, I removed the HotFix (KB929399) program. I don't know how to resync the music to the player...

Keeps on saying it has no licenseto play. sync True True (``````````` (``````````` 0 95250 95250 license from pc

Go into your Control Panel and Add and Remove Programs. Make sure Show Updates is checked on top of the Window. Scroll down to the bottom and remove Hotfix for Windows Media Format 11 SDK (KB929399). Restart then resync your music to your player. Unfortunately, Windows continues to reinstall this "fix."
if that doesn't work try this
I reformatted the player, deleted and then re-downloaded the subscription tracks.

Problem, when i turn on or reset the vplus creative. then it appear re-building then it will hang at the center. . hang

Click the "synchronize" button, to "push" the licenses from your PC "down" to your player.

Try putting the songs on your PC if they are not there already. Delete all the songs from your Zen, then reload them.

Unfortunately with Napster and Rhpasody (and a few others) you will have to resync every 30 days. The license should renew itself if you connect your player and resync, but i would check with napster's tech support b/c you might have to enable auto-sync temporarily until all of the licenses are updated. Alternatively, you can right click all 306 songs, click on "license" or "digital rights" and click "acquire license" - but that could be a real, time-consuming pain.

If you convert those songs to Mp3 format with an Mp3 converter,, you will never have that problem again.

i had this problem. i added one track that has never been on my player before and it worked for me. hope this helps.

Start up Window Media player on your computer. Plug your Zen device into the computer. Wait until you see it listing in WMP. Unplug the Zen and see if you can play the songs.
The licenses on the device should be updated by WMP when you plug in the device

Have you tried updating the firmware of your Zen V Plus? I've had mine for almost an year and haven't had these issues -- I updated the firmware as soon as I unpacked it.

try downloading the
MP3 player recovery tool from Creative's website (the tool contains the latest firmware update available -- 1.15.03). Plug your ZV+ into your PC, run the program and let it update the firmware. Then format, reload your music and try it.
