To turn off the headset of your phone is quite simple, what you need to do is to go to the menu of the phone, select the settings of the phone ans scroll to enhancement settings, then you select the headset profile, then you select current profile, then you go to either general profile or any other profile of choice, after selecting it, accept it and go to the home page and remove the battery of your phone without turning it off, leave it for about 5 minutes then you fix it back in and turn on the phone.
what you will do,you will press*#7780# then it will want your password, then you will put your password and wait few minuts,if your ph take restart automaticaly, then ok, other wise you will restart your ph manualy
have you tried go into settings then profile then change this to general if this dont work then their is a problem with board or the connector on the bottom of the phone check its clean and not corroded.
When you leave a reply it might take a while for me to get it as the site has a problem with sending the responses to the experts so just bare with me ok ill get back to you a soon as i get your response
First, forget the icon on the screen.
Go to: Menu/Tools/Profiles (short cut is press the on/off button quickly) and choose General profile.
The sound for the ear piece is activated during a call, this sign on the side of the phone <---->, it might be too low.
Input this code in your phone *#3370# for better sound quality.
Also try switching off the phone and taking the battery out for 5 minutes, then restart.
Absolutly thats the reason you can not hear calls. You could try removing the battery and switching on again but it sounds like the connector is faulty. if not try resseting the phone to factory defaults failing that you will have to take it to a repairer or if it was me I would just buy a new phone! did the phone get wet? I have seen this happen on Nokias after they have got wet and after leaving it a week or so the problem went away
