Many washers have a sipping rod or bar that needs to be inserted into the unit from the rear or the bottom; this keeps the drum and balance mechanism stable while being moved. Either, the bar/rod is still in the unit and causing the noise, or it was never inserted for the move and the drum balance is off kilter and need to be physically repositioned so the drum sits well centered. Most likely, nothing is broken; just a nuisance. Goodluck, Macgivor

I have a Frigidaire front loader washer model number LTF7000EGO and it was washing fine then started a beeping noise with dr flashing. What does that mean?

Hello friend, thank you for your post!

I understand that your Frigidaire washer, LTF7000EG0, is displaying a "DR" error code. "DR" stands for door which means a problem with your door it could be an issue with the door latch assembly or door strike. I would suggest resetting your washer and you can do that by unplugging the power cord or flipping the household circuit breaker for ten minutes.

If you continue to experience an issue with the error code "DR" I would recommend reaching out to a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt

Why does the dr light keeps binking

Hello Gene Frank - Typically error code DR indicates an issue with the door switch and wiring not communicating correctly or closing properly. Try resetting the washer by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and if it proves to be ineffective, contact a professional to move forward accurately.

We moved a washer to different location and plugged it in and door will not close and giving a code DR

The door is probably experienced a heavy loaded on contact point during the move so it can cause the door switch misaligned. Check this out.

Ginding noise during agitation

From the GE site.....

Front load washers and some compact model washers do not come with a shipping rod. According to the Installation Instructions for these machines there are 4 bolts, 4 yellow plastic spacers, and 4 metal "p" clamps that need to be saved and reinstalled before moving the washer to prevent any damage to the machine.
