Can you assist me with this problem? I believe that I may have to reset but the manual does not provide me with an answer or method of doing so. Would you be able to assist me?

Sorry but it didn't work. I still don't have a picture. Could there be another method of resetting?

My Disteck Plasma television makes a click sound when i turn it on. It gives no pictures nor sound through speakers. What could be the problem??

i had disconected tv to move furniture around. and now i have no picture or sound. red light is on but when i hit the power botton on top of tv light changes to green for about 2 to 3 seconds and goes back to red. i called protron they add vice to disconect from outlet for 30 to 40 minutes so tv can reset. i left tv unplug for a few hours and still no pictures or sound.

Is the V7 made by Elect? If so, hold the setup or menu key on the remote, then at the same time hold in the setup or menu button on the TV. Wait for 10 seconds and the engineers menu will display. Select Factory reset and power down your TV.

Sorry, but that's the only way - if you don't have a picture, you won't be able to see the menu with the engineers options. It sounds very much as if you will need to take it to a TV repair shop and have the boards tested - it looks like a power short. Don't worry though, as it's rare for the panel itself to be damaged after a power bump and that's the most expensive thing in a set. I don't know where you live, but even a whole board shouldn't cost more than $100 to replace..
