LG WM 1832CW

The stator with the sensor assembly had already been changed on myLG WM 1832CW washer, however the rotor has many magnets, and the part of one magnet is slightly broken, could that cause the washer not to spin and give the LE code?

If the washer won't agitate the stator or rotor assemblies at the back of the washer tub might be bad or damaged. The rotor is essentially one half of a motor, it interacts with the tub by creating a strong electro-magnet. If the rotor fails or is damaged the washer might not spin or agitate. Check the rotor for damaged magnets or other defects.

LG Tromm WM2277HW drum was noisy, then wobbly and now has stopped spinning

Remove back cover and check for a loose nut that holds the rotor. you may have to replace the rotor( is the cover that holds the magnets). Not the stator (which is the motor.)

Where is the hall sensor

A hall sensor is a magnetic pickup sensor that picks up magnetic pulses caused by a rotor that is bolted to the spinner shaft in back of unit. remove back access panel and motor rotor is facing you now. take bolt off of rotor and slide off. you should be able to see hall sensor under stator. remove bolts on stator to access hall sensor.

Need to change stator and rotor assembly in WM2688H*MA

The stator is stationary mounted to the outer tub the rotor attaches to the spindle of the basket which is a shaft that goes thru a bearing to get a definitive answer remove the back panel remove the rotor turn the center bolt till it loosens keep going as this will back the rotor off the stator you will have to pull with a little effort strong magnets to get it off now try to spin the basket by hand if stiff you have a bad tub bearing.

The bearing is pressed in in the factory and is only available as a rear tub assembly. They claim to have extremely tight tolerances to prevent wear and unbalance. Check your owner's manual there may be an extended warranty on the rear half of the tub.
