Clearing recent selections

When trying to clear recent selections, it wants u to delete all selections. can u help

What are you trying to clear? The only option in clearing Recently Found IS to clear all. If you want to keep something in particular, click it, then save it to Favorites. Otherwise, clearing will clear everything not saved as a favorite.

How do I clear browser data?


Well, it depends which browser are you using.
If you are using "chrome" the use the following procedure:
In the top-right corner of the browser window, click the Chrome menu Chrome menu
Click History and recent tabs > History.
Check the box next to each webpage that you want to remove from your History.
At the top of the page, click the button Remove selected items.
A confirmation box will appear. Click Remove.

If you are using "safari" then use the following procedure:
Choose History > Clear History, click the pop-up menu, then choose how far back you want your browsing history cleared.

If using "firefox" the use the following procedure:
Click the menu button New Fx Menu , choose History, and then Clear Recent History….
Select how much history you want to clear:
Click the drop-down menu next to Time range to clear to choose how much of your history Firefox will clear.

Next, click the arrow next to Details to select exactly what information will get cleared. Your choices are described in the What things are included in my history?
Finally, click the Clear Now button. The window will close and the items you've selected will be cleared.

How do I log in to Google accounts? I get an error message whenever I try to log in to Google. I get the following message: We've detected a problem with your cookie settings.


Try deleting your browser Cookie.
Internet Explorer:
  • On the General tab, click Delete under Browsing History in the Internet Properties dialog box. ...
  • In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, click Delete Cookies.
Firefox:
Click the menu button 2014-01-10-13-08-08-f52b8c.png , choose History, and then Clear Recent History....
  1. Set Time range to clear to Everything.
  2. Click on the arrow next to Details to expand the list of history items.

Delete all internet history


To delete all browsing history in Firefox:
1. Click on Firefox drop-down menu at the top-left corner of the browser.
2. Move your cursor to History >
3. Click on Clear Recent history...
4. Select the time range to be Everything
5. Select the things you want to clear (if all - check all checkboxes). This is viewable by clicking on Details.
6. Click on Clear Now.

I feel so stupid! How do I clear my "browser cache"?


Internet Explorer 8 and above
  1. From the Safety menu in the upper right, click Delete Browsing History... .

  2. Deselect Preserve Favorites website data, and select Temporary Internet files, Cookies, and History.

  3. Click Delete.
Internet Explorer 7
  1. From the Tools menu in the upper right, select Internet Options.

  2. Under "Browsing history", click Delete... .

  3. To delete your cache, click Delete files... . To delete your cookies, click Delete cookies... .
    To delete your history, click Delete history... .
  4. Click Close, and then click OK to exit.
Back to top
Firefox 3.5 and above for Windows
  1. From the Tools menu, select Clear Recent History... .

  2. From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select Everything.

  3. Click the down arrow next to "Details" to choose what history elements to clear (e.g., check Cookies to clear cookies). Click Clear Now.
Firefox 3 for Windows
  1. From the Tools menu, select Clear Recent History... , and then select the items you want to delete (e.g., Browsing & Download History, Cache, Cookies).

  2. Click Clear Recent History... .

I having troubled logging out my facebook


Clear all your recent history, individual cookies and caches(you'll find all this option under tools and Option, depend on which internet browser you are using) from the browser and try sing out now.... now it you should be able to sing out from your face book account.

HOW DO YOU CLEAR RECENT CALL AND MESSAGES


Hi trsampson,

To clear recent calls, here are the steps to follow:
1. Go to the 'Menu' option.
2. Scroll, till you get to call register.
3. Select it, then scroll to 'delete recent call list'.
4. After you have selected it, you would be provided with the options to delete,
i. 'All calls', selecting it would entirely wipe off your entire call log.
ii. 'Missed call', selecting it would delete your entire missed call on the call log.
iii. 'Received calls', selecting this deletes all your received calls.
iv. 'Dialled calls', selecting this deletes all your dialled calls on d log.

You could also perform selective deleting. You might want to delete a/some paticular number(s) that is on the log, not the entire log.
To effect this, after step 2 above, you can scroll to either of 'missed calls', 'received calls', or 'dialled calls'. Select the one which pertains to the number you want to delete, scroll through till you get to the particular number(s), select 'options', scroll till you get to 'delete', then select delete, and the number is deleted. Do it for as many numbers as you want to be deleted.

To clear messages,
1. Select the menu option, scroll till you get to 'messages'.
2. Select 'messages', scroll for either 'inbox' or 'sent messages'.
3. Select whichever you want to delete from, scroll to the particular message, and select 'options', sroll again, and select 'delete'.

My facebook chat box is not opening ??? what shall i do ?


Try clearing all of your recent browsing data.

In Internet explorer:

Click "Safety" on the Command bar
Select "Delete Browsing History"
Select the option for cookies and click Delete

In Mozilla Firefox:

Press "Ctrl+Shift+Delete"
Select "Everything"
Press "Clear now"

If the above does not work, try signing in and out of Facebook. Otherwise it is probably site maintenance and you should expect it to be working soon.

I can not log-out


Clearing out your cache in your browser should solve this problem. I have included instructions fro the top three browsers for your convenience.

Internet Explorer 8

  1. Click the Safety menu and then Delete Browsing History.
  2. Uncheck Preserve Favorites website data, and select Temporary Internet files, Cookies, and History.
  3. Click Delete.
Mozilla FireFox 3.6

  1. Click Tools Menu
  2. Select Clear Recent History...
  3. Under the Time range to clear: list select Everything.
  4. Click the Details arrow and select EVERYTHING
Safari

  1. Select Reset Safari
  2. Select Empty the cache and Remove all cookies, then press reset.

I need to know how to refresh my browser and also clear the cache


Press F5 to "refresh" (repeat the download and display) a web-page.

Within Internet Explorer, click "Tools" then click "Internet Options".
The "delete browsing history" button should be visible.
