Question about Uniden Cordless Phone
Re Xtender DuelDect for |Skype use. Thanks for quick response. As this is wireless set up running off my computer. Each phone was supplied with a USB dongle. I wish to put phones in different locations i.e. upsatairs and downstairs. Do I have to connect a dongle for each phone to my USB port. Connection to a separate socket for the landline is not a problem. Thanks

Is your base near a computer or other electronics? Also, make sure your microwave is not on. I get static if I do any of those things.

Caller ID standards are different in India,so caller id won't display ; need to buy a converter which converts from DTMF to BellFSK standard

SOURCE: my cordless phone says
With the phone in standby, press MENU/SELECT on the base.
Move the cursor to select the Register Handset menu, and then press MENU/SELECT. Handset Registering will appear.
On the handset, press and hold # until the handset beeps and displays Handset Registering.
When the handset has registered to the base, the LCD will display Registration Complete then show the handset ID number.
If the display shows Registration failed, repeat the process again.
Note: If a handset has ever been registered to a base, reset the handset before you register it to a new base
