Question about JVC XV-N320 DVD Player

1 Answer

Sound but no picture

My son hit some button on our remote to the JVC DVD player.  We can hear the movies but can't see anything.  Any idea which button on the remote will undo this?

I accidentally hit a button on my remote - I'm not sure which one - and my tv screen went blank.

You hit the OFF button Lori? lol

No, you probably hit the Input or Source button. Press it again until the picture comes back.

How do I get back to the Meue that I will show progressive scan mode. to remove progressive scan mode, because its stuck on the DVD, whereas we can't see the movie but we can hear the sound. I tried to...

1) Remove any DVD that may be inside
2) Press AND Hold Stop Button (on front of Player) for 5 or more seconds
3) All Done - This will have reset player back to Interlaced Mode and you can now see your DVD!

My JVC DVD player sometime does not read a DVD disk that was played in it before in it or it has just played?? this is driving me nuts!!!! an ideas... pls...

It's an anticopy feature. JVC extensively uses sony electronics. And Sony is the anti copy king of retardedness. I've permanently stopped purchasing sony products for this reason. From dvd players, to video game consoles, and their records and movies (columbia). I've been doing this for 10 years and haven't really missed anything :/
