AudioSource VS-two powered speaker

Purchased used but has no manual for this speaker. Need manual or information and specs for connecting and using this powered speaker. No factory assistant forthcoming and any would be appreciated.

Another conundrum

To check for yourself, get an Ohmmeter and see if the outers of the amplifiers RCAs are connected to the ground or each other. If so then it cannot take speaker signals directly.
I suspect the 'High Level' the manual speaks of are the 4volt auxilliary audio signals that can be found on some newer head units, not speaker signals.
Speaker level signals from a bridge amp CAN be used on grounded RCA inputs if the signal is first passed through a simple decoupler and attenuator.

I Lost my power adepter for my philips speakers model no 430/00. Can you please let me know the adopter power means how much volt I need to use. also I need to connect it to my pc and i do not have any...

The specs for the adapter are not shown in the manual but I imagine they're marked on the speaker module.

Places like Radio Shack could set you up with an adapter that has a compatible electrical and physical connection.

The audio cable is standard RCA stereo on ne end and whateve rmatches your PC on the other.

I need a new power supply for Labtec LCS 1030 speakers and trying to obtain specs and power plug information. Anybody have the information available?

I know this is a little late, but the power supply that these speakers use appears to be 5mm across. The output specifications are 15V DC, 1000mAh (1A), with the center pin being negative.

Sony str de345 in protect mode

If PROTECT , PROTECTOR or a P is flashing in the display of the A/V receiver, there may be an incorrect connection or an improper setting. Try following these steps to resolve this issue:
IMPORTANT: If model-specific information is needed to complete any of these steps, refer to the instructions supplied with the product. Manuals are available online through the Manuals/Specs/Warranty link on this page.
NOTE: Because each of these steps represents a possible solution to this issue, check the A/V receiver status after completing each step.
  1. Check the speakers and speaker wires for proper connections.
  2. Reduce the volume level. IMPORTANT: If the A/V receiver is used at maximum volume level, it may enter the PROTECT mode. Maximum volume listening will cause the A/V receiver to run very hot and may drain the output capacitors.
  3. If applicable to your model, disable the surround sound option if both the A and B speakers are being used simultaneously.
  4. Ensure the top of the A/V receiver has proper ventilation to keep it from overheating.
  5. If the message only occurs when using a DVD player, the sampling frequency may be set too high. IMPORTANT: Some A/V receivers provide compatibility with the higher sampling frequencies through alternate connections. Consult the owners manual for specific information.
  6. Unplug the AC power cord for approximately 1 to 2 hours to reset the output transformers.

I have had a set of Polk Audio SDA1 speakers that I had attached to an old but great Pioneer SPEC-1 pre-amp and SPEC-2 power amp. The old speakers had one connection for the right speaker positive and...

bi-wiring requires the removal of the copper jumpers between the hi and low speaker terminals. you can use two wire pairs twisted together at amp out connections and the four separate ends at each speaker, but the quality of sound will not be as good as buying quality bi-wire cables. But a pair of quality single set of wires at each speaker would be fine, but put jumpers back on and attach to the top terminals, they are designed that way. bi-wiring does allow the crossover to put out a little better sound. Hooking up four sets of wires to the a and b speaker terminals sounds bad. i have had alot of trouble with my rti10's and learned the hard way that it is best to pay more for wires with quality terminations.

Setting up Surround SOund to LCD Television

All you have done is purchased the speakers for a surround system. So now you need a Surround Sound system.
The surround system, should have a power output no greater than 100 watts per channel. And be capable of connecting 6 ohm speakers.
The choice of unit will depend on price you can afford and the features you want. Check your TV to see if it has a Optical out socket. Or just HDMI sockets. If it has an optical socket, make certain that Surround unit has a couple of these. You will also need to purchase an optical lead, you can pick these up in cheap bargain shops. If you have a DVD or Blue Ray player, check them for the same. If one or more has co-axial sound output, make certain your amp or receiver has one. The more items you have connected to the receiver using optical out, the more sockets you will need. The more digital inputs on the unit the better it will be. The receiver should have at least Dolby Digital 5.1 settings and possibly DTS on it.
