Hello tryin to hook up a audiosource mcsw 1 to my home stero reciever I have no souround sound just want the sub it has 4 sat out 4hi level in rca line out & in, my receiver has a/b outs b are not...

You don't mention what receiver we're dealing with so we have no idea what facilities it has that might take advantage of the Line Level inputs on the sub's amp.

You probably COULD just run the Speaker A wires from the receiver to the High Level inputs on the sub, then run another set of speaker wires out to your regular front Left and Right speakers. This sub is self-amplified so it would use the speaker level from your receiver only to guide its internal amp.

If you have volume-controlled pre-outs on the receiver that could be used, too.

I can't find a manual for your sub but go here, register for free and download the manual for a typical powered sub. They all do it pretty much the same.

Hello everyone. I need a cable for bose system CineMate GS. I want to connect speakers of another brand, but I need the configuration of serial cable to do it myself, someone can assist with the...

"CAUTION: Make no modifications to the system or accessories. Unauthorized alterations may compromise safety, regulatory compliance, and system performance."

That warning is not in the manual to just protect their market share. Even if you succeed in making the desired electrical connections the results may be less than stellar.

I'm not saying this IS the case but here is some Food for thought.

Bose's main claim to fame, the 901, was always based on achieving flat audio response from full-range speakers (NO WOOFERS or TWEETERS in the case of 901's) through the use of large amounts of prioprietary equalization applied to the audio signal. Another evolutionary step way in Bose amp/speaker systems was to deviate, sometimes drastically, from the 8-ohm speaker driver standard and design the mated amp to work with the selected load. THAT is just two reasons why no specs are published for the sub-parts of any BOSE SYSTEM. It's a system.

In the mix n match world of COMPONENTS specs are published so one can choose a given speaker for use with a given amp and expect electrical compatibility, frequency response and power handling.

Except for standalone passive speaker systems, mixing and matching Bose speakers with third party electronics (or vice versa) is discouraged as being potentially dangerous and at the least sonically unwise. For example, if you've ever heard how a Bose 901 Active Equalizer sounds with non-Bose 901 speakers you'd understand.

Maybe someone else can fill in the pin-outs of the cable and chime in on whether or not Brand X speakers will work with the Cinemate amps. Not knowing what other brand/model you're contemplating, it would be impossible for anyone to offer a qualified judment on that score.

Hook up lower level input to the audio source 230 subwoofer but can't get any sound for the speaker that is hook up through the speaker level input or output.

The speaker level connectors on the sub are for use when you DON'T have an AV receiver-style subwoofer output. They only pass-through from YOUR amp to other speakers. You should NOT use both Line level and Speaker Level input to the sub.

What is your electronics? Have you looked at the manuals?

The specs for the adapter are not shown in the manual but I imagine they're marked on the speaker module.

Places like Radio Shack could set you up with an adapter that has a compatible electrical and physical connection.

The audio cable is standard RCA stereo on ne end and whateve rmatches your PC on the other.

My sw 15 sub woofer is making aloud humming noise ithink it is oprably the fan

Most likely, you could feel the fan if it was that, but it could also be the the cord that connects the Sub to the main console, much like guitar feedback on an amp

Audiosource AST-Sub 10 subwoofer. it blows the fuse when turn on.

It sounds like your audio amplifer has a short (probably the out put transistors or module). This should not be an expensive epair.
To check your speaker you can use an ohm meter. First, pull of one of the two wires that connects at the speaker. You should read 4 to 8 Ohms. Also you will hear a little pop through the speaker as you touch the wire. You can also use a 9 volt battery in the same way.
Good Luck

bi-wiring requires the removal of the copper jumpers between the hi and low speaker terminals. you can use two wire pairs twisted together at amp out connections and the four separate ends at each speaker, but the quality of sound will not be as good as buying quality bi-wire cables. But a pair of quality single set of wires at each speaker would be fine, but put jumpers back on and attach to the top terminals, they are designed that way. bi-wiring does allow the crossover to put out a little better sound. Hooking up four sets of wires to the a and b speaker terminals sounds bad. i have had alot of trouble with my rti10's and learned the hard way that it is best to pay more for wires with quality terminations.
