Question about Samsung HC-P4752W 47" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

1 Answer

Con Hello, Thanks to Premtech for the good advice. Greatly appreciated. It was suggested to use higher wattage amps. I did this and tv looks great. What im woderning now is if any idvice on adjustments to the convergence grid. I think i might have tweaked some settings before I replaced the amps. I look at the grid and it is not all stright and perpindicular. Mostly the linnes are all matched up and white. But the red is off a little on the very outsides. All colors are moveable. Im wondering if and how Im supposed to get the lines all stright and perpindicular after alighning the colors up? I dont want to mess anything up more by screwing with the grid to much. I dont know if that will burn anything up. The grid looks decent now but .. Looks wavy . Should I adjust or just line up the the red thats off a little bit. I dont know what a correct grid should look like. Thank you very much for your time .. this is a great site!!!!!!!

when water shorts out something it overloads a lot of other components so the best advice is to take it in for a proper diagnosis.
you just replace a board but another board is damaged it might just blow the board you replaced and that would prove nothing

If its under warranty take it back immediately!!! If not you will need to have the set diagnosed to pinpoint the problem. You could be looking at a faulty t-con/panel connection (easy fix) or a bad t-con board(inexpensive) or a LCD panel(very expensive) failure !

Check the flat ribbon cables that connects with T'Con board to lCD panel for any loose contacts. Re-seat them. If this do not help you, replace the T'Con board.

Blurred TV - double vision with red hue

I was searching online about what could be the problem with our TV and I came across your page. We have a 52" JVC Projection TV that now has a "blurred" screen. We can see the channels but it looks like it's has a shadow around the images. The screen in in a red hue with green blur.

If you have any suggestions on what caused this and what we can do to have this fixed, I would greatly appreciate your advice.

I replace it on my TV and it didn't fix the problem. It's not difficult if you have a general knowledge of electronics. Luckily (strangely), Samsungparts.com lets you return electronic parts that have been installed for credit - restocking fee.
