Question about Canon PowerShot S2 IS Digital Camera
When I aim to shoot, the image on both the viewfinder (LCD) and the larger LCD screen shows blurred images in which light sags like a watercolor image being rinsed off the canvas. There is also a purple hue to the whole image. When I shoot, the image is saved just as blurry. However, when in playback mode, all pictures taken before this issue started show up 100% clear on both LCD screens. So its not the LCD screen, its not the batteries, I didn't drop it or get it wet, and the lens is not harmed or blurry. If it is a CCD issue, how can I get it fixed and at what price?
This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
