Question about Logitech ClickSmart 510 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Logitech 510 camera

I use to be able to take pictures with the camera and plug into my dell xp system and it would retrieve the pics but had my system worked on due to slow speeds and ever since that I cannot transfer the pictures from my camera anymore. My question is that I think the man that worked on it lost the program. Is there a free download anywhere for the logitech 510 camera that I can down load again to see if this solves the problem? Thanks

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

I think the normal way to transfer pictures over is to use a usb cable hooked up to the camera and then the pictures will use the built in drivers in Windows XP or above (Windows Vista, Windows 7) to retrieve pictures.

You need a cable connection between your camera and the computer, most likely a USB cable.
Download and install Picasa from Google. It is a free program.
Run Picasa and import pictures from your camera.

My son deleted all the pictures from the memory card. Is there a way to recover the pictures? I have not removed the card from the camera yet.

If these are "once in a lifetime pictures", there is retrieval software you can purchase that can possibly get your pictures back. It's costly but at least you'll have it if it happens again in the future. Just don't shoot any more pics on the card...that will only overwrite your pics making retrieval impossible. Google the words "digital picture retrieval software" for the available ones.

It doesn't matter about the format of the computer for the pictures if they were in .jpg format either computer should be able to retrieve them.

Cant get pics to computer

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive.

Get a card reader and use it to download the pics to a computer. Then, format the card in the camera to get it to work properly again.

Memory stick error, what does this mean, What can

Two things to try: 1. Get a separate card reader and use it to download the pics to your computer. 2. Take the card to Walmart and plug the card into a Kodak Picture Kiosk machine. You can print the pics or even make a cd of them. Once you safely have your pics. put the card back into the camera, go into the menu and find "format"..follow the on-screen instructions to erase and initialize the card. Everything should be back to normal.

I cannot retrieve pictures from my camera. When I plug it in to my USB port, my computer is not recognizing it. I have a Canon Powershot S30, my operating system is Windows XP.

Most Compact cameras come with a software disk that has the photo software pre-loaded. My experience is that once you have loaded the software and uploaded your pictures, you can then convert the file to XP, or better still, to Photoshop.

Hope this helps
