Re: Al 1916 problem
Really? here's the thing..try to check the display settings manually.press the menu button of your monitor then try adjust the contrast, brightness and colors as well to your desired level..if your'e using LCD monitors, these are very sensitive and can be easily damaged if don't handle it very well..don't press the auto button always because it will automatically adjust the settings every now and then..

I had a similar problem, the monitor was going blank once in a while (since I don't have a VGA input), so I switched the Auto Source feature to
"Manual" and so far it's working fine for the past 2 days, if I run
into the problem again I'll update this message.
On the side
panel of your monitor, press the top button to access the menu, scroll
down to the setup menu (by pressing the 3rd button down on the panel),
press the 4th button down to enter the setup menu, scroll down to "Auto
Source", use the 4th button to select, "Auto" & "Manual" are your
choices.. press the 2nd button down to select "Manual" then the top
button to exit the menu(s).
This monitor is set up to be able to
do multi display with the software included. Utilizing both Digital and
Analog signals. I'm not using this feature so I'm not sure how
switching the Auto Source off will affect the performance of this
when you open your pc now,do you still hear a click sounds like you hear before ,when your computer has no problem yet? now there is no sounds .do the ff.. 1.try to press the numlock key and observe it ,if the indicator LED lite on and off,the problem of your computer is your video card, 2.if you can't hear anything, when you open your unit and the indicator of your monitor goes the color orange,pls..check your memory .clean the memory and the memory slots using the contact cleaner .before you replace a new memory. 3. and try to use a another monitor, maybe your monitor has the problem
I think you have loose cabling somewhere. Try to unplug (and untangle) the video cables and then plug them all back together firmly. If this does not work and you know your machine is booting up properly, you might have damaged the monitor somehow accidentally.
Hi, I had the same problem and I wrote an email to Nu. They wrote me back that I should use the Factory reset feature which you have to go through the Factory Menu to get to. Instructions to do this are as follows. I got to the menu my first try but it has been a pain to get back to it. I hope it will be easier to access for yours.
Hope this helps

Delete the plug and play monitor driver and reboot. Trouble is this worked for only one day and had to be done the next. Wish I knew a permanent solution. It appears to be a driver issue. Will see if I can reload the monitor specific drivers instead of plug and play.
