I noticed a product key number posted and it said use at your own risk, what could the risk be?

Sounds as if its been used and or marked as unusable. meaning someone cloned the program and is issuing it copy after copy (blackmarket sellers) ...using it will cause you some problems. however i believe microsoft (when u download patch) will reveal this and give you an option to buy it. i dont know if its at a discounted rate but the offer is there otherwise you may be blocked from updates and not get a blue star by your name.<<<<<that part is a joke...
