Wow, that was condescending. I already have it working, I do this for a living. I have just never setup a Panasonic Camera before, didn't know their interface, was looking for some friendly help. Obviously this site is full of "Professional Computer Technicians". No wonder my computer services company does so well. I replace schmucks like you, and the only difference is I actually have a personality beyond that of the superior Dork living in the basement of the science building...

Yes. Unfortunately this topic is a bit too in-depth to be able to give you step-by-step instructions here. If you don't already have a reasonable knowledge of how web sites are built and how IP networks work, you really should consider hiring somebody to set it up for you.

You never mentioned anything in your original post about doing this for a living. Your question was posted the same way as all the novices on this site. You didn't provide anywhere near enough information to get an answer other than "yes" or the response you got from me.

If you truly do this for a living then you should know how to ask questions a whole lot better than that. Please readhttp://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-question... and maybe next time you won't waste people's time.

Also, you have all out lied in the rating you gave to my solution. My solution was far from inappropriate, it just wasn't the answer you wanted to hear. And please keep in mind, insulting me by calling me a schmuck is very childish and immature. I'm not getting paid for answering questions like yours. If all you want to do is insult people then please do so elsewhere.

Streaming video takes a lot of bandwidth, make sure you are connected at the maximum speed for your wifi network which usually is around 54Mbps. Also, if the video you are streaming is popular, increased server load could be why the stream is breaking up.

Stream Sony XR550 AVCHD from PC to Panasonic TC-P50G25 via DLNA with PS3

If you go to the website I will list below, you can download software for:

USB Driver for Panasonic Palmcorder Camcorders
Video Stream Driver Software for Web Cam
They are located under Drivers/Downloads. You can also find the Operating Instructions and more.
I hope this helps...Link Below.

Videos stop and start. How to fix

It is called buffering. The video's tend to play and stops at some point and then continue playing because it is still loading the video. Just wait for the video to load completely before playing. You will notice this thru the red indication bar align with the play button. If the loading does not finish, try reloading the webpage by pressing F5.

Hope this helps. Thank you for using FixYa.

I'm just wondering if it's possible to stream live video of your PC desktop screen to a webpage on another PC using VLC 1.0? I've tried different settings in VLC and I just haven't been able to get it to...

You need to find a screen capture program that captures your desktop as a camera then find a streaming utility for your website to point to that camera that was created as your desktop. It is possiable I just do not know right off hand what the program names are.

Lost the Setup CD

You will not find any software to do this on the Panasonic website. They only supply instruction manuals and firmware upgrades. However you don't need any installation CD. This camera is a web server so it contains all its own software. All you need is to type in the local network IP address (default is 192.168.0.253) into your Internet Browser and then enter your ID and password into the screen that pops up. The installation CD is just scanning your network to look for a camera on some IP address and it makes things a little easier if you have multiple cameras. All the rest of the setup is actually in the camera's Active-X software. If you previously set the camera up with a different IP address and/or port number and you have forgotten it, or you can't remember your User ID and password, (write it down the next time) you may have to reset the camera (see the small reset switch on the underside of the camera) and you will have to start from scratch. But you don't need the installation CD. The camera will ask you exactly the same questions as the CD. Typically you will have to set it up first in wired mode with an Ethernet cable to your router, but this is only because the camera doesn't know the SSID of your wireless network until you tell it (go to Setup/Wireless when you have logged into the camera.) Once you have put in the required wireless info, you just flick the switch on the underside to Wireless Mode and it should all work just fine.

Linksys wireless camera--viewable if ISP uses dynamic IPs?

Ok, everything by default hands out dynamic ip addresses. If the camera is plugged into the network it will automatically pick up an ip address and you would be able to see it in your router config page. Try attaching the camera to the wireless network and then log into your router and look for attached devices. Let me know if you get stuck and where you get stuck.
