Re: D-Link Print Server Compatibility issues

DP-300U Print Server is not compatible with Sharp AR-5320. Pls check D-Link website on the list of compatible printer. For USB Print Server that is compatible with Sharp AR-5320 try Intellinet.

Can an AR-337 printer/copier be attached to a network and, if so, what hw/sw is required?

Yes it can, you need the print server hardware, depending on the printer port your printer used, is it a parallel port or usb connection. If it used a parallel port you can use D-LINK DP 301+ to connect it to your network.

Printer is not geting my print commands

What driver are you using on your vista machine? It would be better to load a local printer on your laptop and create a standard TCP/IP port using the address everyone else is using and load the driver locally instead of network printer. Also if you are using a print server to make it networkable you probably need the GDI version of the print driver loaded not the PCL5 or 6. It can be downloaded from PCL driver only works if PCL Print option is installed on the device. This would also give you a nic port on the copier as well, so if you have print server you probably don't have that option. If you need more specific details let me know.

Hope this helps,

Sharp AR 5320 USB Printer port does not working

The usb cannot be switched off in either service of customer modes. have you tried using the parrallel port? Maybe it is a computer issue, wrong drivers perhaps, try a different usb port on your machine

Problem with sharp ar 5320 copier

Sounds like a bad earth or loose connection. Try using the parrallel port instead, or take the panel off and look for bad connection
