Motorola l6 help me find a way to transfer files from my phone (motorola l6) to my pc using a usb cable..MPT cd's are hard to find in our place..

Hello. First you have to go to www.motox.info , regester on thier site, goto the downloads section and download the motorola drivers. They should be right at the top. Once you have them installed, go to connections in your phone, then go to usb settings, and choose the "use as mass storage" option instead of usb sync. Then you should be able to access your files on your phone as if they were a drive on your computer. I hope this helped. If you need further assistance, just reply here. as far as I know the best way to transfer files from and to Motorola L6 is through bluetooth.

I am currently using Motorola L6 and the software i have can let me connect to the net, transfer contacts and synchronize it with my PC.

thats easy..try MOBILE PHONE TOOLS its a powerful program used to transfer files file via pc to mobile or vice versa..
NOTE:when you connect your phone to your pc,it ask for a driver. you should locate motorola usb modem manually on the software and proceed with instalation..its a huge program about 300 mb sorry cant send...i can send you the driver but how?

Installation driver


Hello, first off you need Motorola Mobile Phone Tools on your computer. If you don't have the software, just go to your connection settings to the usb tab and open that, then choose usb mass storage as opposed to usb sync and you should be good. You computer should see your phone as a memory card.
