Cannot remember parental control password. do

for ps3 the default is 0000 if you go into settings and restore the ps3 to default it will reset it to that

Go to Settings
Highlight Parental Control
When the screen pops up that says Enter Pass Code press: X, Y, Left Trigger, X

Here is the procedure to reset the parental lock code:

1. From the XBOX dashboard screen, go to settings and then parental control.
   
2. When prompted for the password, perform the following sequence using the XBOX controller: X, Y, Left Trigger, X.
   
3. Enter in a new password, or disable parental control entirely.

Parental control setting

Some discs are specified not suitable for children. Such

discs can be limited not to play back with the unit.

1) Press C or D to select "Parental", then press B

or A until the level you require appears.

• Level Off: The parental control setting does not

function.

• Level 8: All DVD software can be played back.

• Level 1: DVD software for adults cannot be

played back.

Select from the level 1 to level 8. The limitation will

be more severe as the level number is lower.

2) Press C or D to select "Password".

Press Number buttons (0-9) to input a 4-digit

password. Be sure to remember this number!

• If you input a wrong number, press CLEAR.

3) Press ENTER to store the password.

Note: Now the rating is locked and the setting cannot

be changed unless you enter the correct pass

word.

4) Press OPEN/CLOSE to activate Parental control

setting. (See "Temporary disabling of rating level by

DVD disc" on page 36.)

Notes:

• Depending on the discs, the unit cannot limit playback.

• Some discs may not be encoded with specific rating

level information though its disc jacket says "adult." For
those discs, the age restriction will not work.

To change the parental level

1) Press C or D to select "Password".

2) Press Number buttons (0-9) to enter the password

you have stored.

3) Press ENTER.

• The rating is now unlocked.

4) Press C or D to select "Parental", then press B

or A to change the parental level.

5) Press C or D to select "Password", then press

Note: You can change the password if you want.

6) Press ENTER.
Now the parental level is changed and locked.

If you forget the password...

1. Press OPEN/CLOSE to open the disc tray.

2. Remove the disc.

3. Press OPEN/CLOSE again to close the disc tray.
"No Disc" appears on the screen.

4. While holding STOP down on the front panel,

press 7 on the remote control. "PASSWORD

CLEAR" appears on the screen.
5. Enter a new password again.

Power off your PlayStation 2, and place a DVD into the disc drive. You can reset and turn off parental controls only through the DVD menu, not within the game menu.

Step 2 Start the DVD, and wait for the message informing you that the movie is classified as beyond the "Parental Control Level" and asking if you still want to play the movie. Select "Yes," and click "X."

Step 3 Click "Select" on the screen that prompts you to input your password. The screen will change to the "Delete Password" menu.

Step 4 Enter 7444 as your password, and then click "X." This is the override password and will result in the deletion of any previous passwords.

Step 5 Press "Select" to return to the password entry menu. Choose a four-digit number to enter as your new password. If you're going to disable parental controls for good, enter 0000, as this will be the easiest to remember and enter. Repeat the entry when it asks for confirmation.

Erase/set new pass:
With a new pass you can edit settings i'm pretty sure, stopping the locks on your games?

It is MUCH easier to find an answer.
Maybe your parents DIDNT put in your age, but above will erase your password.

the master password is 5963.....after you enter that it will ask you to create a new password.

You can try these codes 2211 or 3308 if they do not work you will need to reset the unit. You will need to unplug it for 45 minutes that will reset the TV to factory settings. Then the pass codes I provided should work.
