Music disappears automatically!

The songs get erased from my i pod automatically. Only photos are visible. But the memory used, shows that all my songs are in the i pod but they are not visible. this has happened about 4-5 times and it happens when my i pod is connected to the PC. is there some way by which i can retrieve the hidden data? also how can i prevent this from happening again?

How do i delete songs of my i pod

The first way is uncheck the songs you want to delete on iTunes and then sync iTunes with ipod again, then the songs you want to delete will lose from iPod.

The second way is use leawo iTransfer to delete songs from iPod, the way is connect iPod to leawo iTransfer, then right click on the music you want to delete from iPod on leawo iTransfer to choose "Delete", then the music will be deleted soon. However, this tool can only work on Windows computer.

Unable to load MP# files from memory stick on to iPod

You should go to and downlaod limewire and manually download each song and it'll help you have the music in your i-pod. Yoy can also open i-tunes and connect your i-pod home of your i-pod and check the box that says manually manage songs but that will erase the music you have in the i-pod but will allow you to put the mp3 files on the i-pod.

No memory availability is appearing .it's showing 0kb memory

I using T sonic 840.
I found the reason for this.

I think you used transferred the songs/ videos from the computer, which had Windows operating system.

Windows has the high possibility to attack your T sonic by means of Viruses and worms.

So, first take a back up of your songs/videos/photos/text documents.
then format it.

Now download the songs/videos/photos/text documents. and before removing your device.
Scan for virus. If you find any virus fix that virus.

Now you cannot see the 0kb free space.

I pod touch while sincing new data, old is getting erased

Hi, I think you are using Itunes to Sync your IPOD-T.

If u r using Itunes Then u shouldn't delete any thing from ur ITUNES... Because, Sync is a option which will check the contents of your ipod and Itunes... If u erase anything from your itunes, then it will erase the same in ur IPod as well.... So U shouldn't delete anything from ur itunes....

Other option would be Manual Sync option... Where u have to drag and drop the contents from ur Itunes. Everytime....

Let me know, whether u want to manually add contents to ur ipod. so tat i can send u the settings?

Your library needs to be rebuilt to version 8.0 before ITunes will work. Once the database is rebuilt, your songs will reappear in Itunes for use.

Give Itunes the library that your files are in using the folder options. Itunes will rebuild the library off of those settings.

Backup your purchased songs asap.

Grays songs in ipod when connected to Computer

You need to set your iPod to update manually, instead of syncing automatically when you plug it into the computer.

To do this, plug your iPod into your computer, and on the iPod info screen that pops up in iTunes when your iPod is connected, click "Manually Manage Files."
You'll now have to click and drag your songs from your library to your iPod, but now you can also play songs on your computer directly from your iPod and delete songs from your library without deleting them from your iPod at the same time.

Hope this helped!
