We just recently acquired a sega saturn..When we power it on, the screen is fine but as we push the start button, the games begin to flash like a strobe light..The color, sound, controllers all work fine, now if we could just get it to stop flashing..l.o.l..any suggestions are appreciated

Your A/V cable could be really screwed up, or is getting some sort of interference from other cables near by. Try an older or different TV. Also maybe wiggle the A/V connection on the back of the saturn to see if it is a lose port.

I have a Sega Saturn with about 15 years. I unboxed it and started to play my games. Everything worked fine until Resident Evil 1. I start the game (everything fine, menu fine, options fine, intro movie...

It sounds like its definitely something wrong with the system. There must be something about this game that the system is having trouble reading correctly. I don't see there being much of a fix for this unless maybe you brought it in to a local game shop and had let look at it.

Sega saturn power button stays on

im afraid not it sounds like the switch has broken free from the small circuit board its attatched to so even if you opened it up you would not fix it unless you was any good at soldering with a fine soldering iron, you will be a lot better off leaving it as it is,

I have a sega saturn that plays games just fine but will not play the background music to some games and will not play music cds. Any ideas?

Dirty laser, failing laser. I'd try to clean the lens in a circular motion with a DRY q-tip.
Let me know if that works ;)

My reset button on my sega saturn is stuck, and for some reason, the console won't play. How can I fix this?

Open the console and take out the reset button and take all wires away from it to stop any random reseting in game
