I bought a packard bell pb1009 notebook but its asking for a pin code how can I unlockit?

IF it is windows 10:

Create administrator account for Windows 10 with command line As you've lost access to all your user accounts, you can't open a Command Prompt in Windows 10. Therefore, you need to get a Command Prompt and use command lines with the help of a Windows 10 setup/installation disc.

Step 1: Boot your PC from a Windows 10 setup/installation disc.
Tips: If you have no any Windows 10 disc, burn a Windows 10 ISO to a USB or CD/DVD drive to instantly create one.

Step 2: When you get to Windows Setup screen, press Shift + F10 to bring out a cmd.exe dialog. Then execute the following three command lines.

1. Type move d:\windows\system32\utilman.exe d:\windows\system32\utilman.exe.bak and press Enter to make a copy of utilman.exe file.

2. Type copy d:windows\system32\cmd.exe d:\windows\system32\utilman.exe and press Enter to replace utilman.exe file with cmd.exe file.

3. Type wpeutil reboot, press Enter, and disconnect the Windows 10 disc from the computer to reboot Windows 10.
Note: Replace d:\ with your system drive letter.

Step 3: When Windows 10 reboots up and comes to the sign-in screen, click the Ease of Access icon. This should open a Command Prompt dialog because you have replaced the Utilman.exe file with cmd.exe file in the second step above. Then execute the following two command lines to create a new admin account for your Windows 10.

1. Type net user /add [username] [password] and press Enter to create a new user account.

2. Type net localgroup administrators [username] /add and press Enter to add the newly created user account to your Windows 10 administrator group.

Computer won't start up, just says missing operating system

Unfortunately, you may have damaged the hard drive when you turned it off during the update. The best case would be that the boot sector information has been corrupted. To try to recover the boot information, you will need a Vista Home Premium 32-bit OS install disc (or an upgrade disc) or a third-party partition/system recovery CD. If you upgraded the OS, you'll need that install/upgrade disc. (If you don't have the Windows OS disc, you may be able to get one from a Windows Users Group member. They often have spare copies.)

Put the disc in the optical drive and boot to the optical disc. Assuming your computer has the DVD drive in the boot list, it should boot to the CD. You will need to choose the Repair option and then the command prompt (Advanced Repair). Type in the command "bootrec.exe /ScanOS" (without the quotes followed by hitting enter). If your hard drive is correctly detected, you should see a Windows OS detected. Then use "bootrec.exe /RebuildBcd".
You may need to execute the additional commands "bootrec.exe /FixMbr" and "bootrec.exe /FixBoot" to fix the database record.

If no Windows OS is detected, try changing drives (to C: or D:, etc.) and locate the drive with the Windows directory. If you can't change drives, the hard drive is not readable. You will need to replace the drive and then reinstall the OS from the install disc. Alternatively, you can try restoring the information to the new drive from your backups. However, you will loose any data not backed up in either case.

I hope this helps.

I lost my installation disc and need the exe for it

A router won't actually need a disc. You should be able to access all your settings from entering http://192.168.2.1 into your browsers address bar.

Cant access the internet on a packard bell computer. have been advised to get a norton removal tool but can't download one because we cant get on the internet

First try this: (Save your Norton KEY#) From your friends computer download the Norton removal tool and save it onto a disc. (Have a disc in the drive> save it there-it will be an exe file) Then put the disc in your drive. Locate your drive with the disc under my computer. Click on it and then click on the exe file. It should start to run immediately. After you have done this do a search under search /C/files and folders and search for "Norton" it should bring up all the leftover files and folders from old installations. you can delete those as well. You should also run a registry cleanup if you have a program for resgistry cleaning. Restart your computer and see if you can get on the internet now. If you can , go to www.comodo.com and download their free virus control firewall and install it (make sure you do a clean install-turn off any other running proggys.) Anyway, first let's see if you can get on the internet. Good Luck and if this does not work- don;t give up, we will try something else.

Trying to load veho vfs-001 software, keeps coming up code 39 cannot find exe file, corrupted or missing

This is an indicator that the disc or the download is bad. Remove any part of the software that you've installed, if loading from disc, make sure the disc isn't dirty or scratched, if the disc is scratched you may need another disc, or you may be able to download the software from the manufacturer's site. If downloading from the internet, then redownload the software.

Ipe.exe error at Novatel Photo Explosion Deluxe 2.0

Did you install it from an original disc or download it off the internet? If it is off an original disc, try making a copy of the dic if you have a burner. Now use the copy as the install disc. Unisntall it ands reinstall with backup copy disc. If you downloaded it off the net, the download is corrupted, and you need to uninstall it and download it again. Good luck.
