Or your video cord is not hooked in right. try doing that. because its not the rings of death. there is no such one that says your sound is working but your video isnt. check all connections with your audio and video cords. make sure the yellow one is hooked up right, cause that one is the video cord.

The problem you are experiencing is closely related to the dreaded RROD (Red Ring of Death). It has the same causes and solutions. I suggest getting an experienced person to repair your console for you. Take care that no one is doing the "Towel Trick" instead of an actual repair.
