Sony kdp 57ws-655 won't turn on

The tv is about 3 years old,and has been bullet proof until now. It was working fine I turned it off and a few minutes later I turned it back on and it a kind of sick sizzling sound(not very loud)and did not turn on. The led will flash on standby however and will not turn off until unplugged. Please help if possible I really miss that big screen.Thank you for your time

- This is an attempt to edit a posting from yesterday.The tv is about 3 years old has given no problems at all,until now. I turned the tv on and it made a sickly sizzling noise and would not turn. The led on the front will flash 6 times,pause and flash 6 times amd so on,but will not turn on. Please help if you can. Thank you for your time.
