I have the Plantronics S11 headset and I can hear callers, but they can't hear me, I need to know what to do. The phone is working fine and everything is all set up correctly as far as I can tell.

There are a couple of basic things to check first. You want to make sure the mute is turned off and your outgoing (mic) volume is loud enough (there is the speak level switch on the side and the speak volume control on top). Also, you want to make sure it is connected through the handset jack on the phone (generally it will not work through the headset jack on the phone). Finally you want to make sure it's configured right (scale located on the side).

Incoming voice is clear but outgoing voice is not working

Check the voice settings.

Click on start and then choose control panel.
Double Click on sounds and audio devices and then use tag for voice or click on voice.

Now click on harware test and then speak and click on next and once again speak and then click on next and end to finish.

You audio harware visit will complete and your device will work properly now. You voice will work for input and ouput.

Good Luck

We are experiencing interference on headsets when

You don't say what kind of interference you are experiencing. If it is humming, adjust the compatibility switch until the sound is clear. If the caller cannot hear your voice, make sure that the mute button is turned off (indicator off). Increase the outgoing volume by adjusting the speak volume. Adjust microphone closer to your mouth. Make sure the telephone handset hook is off the phone. Make sure all cables connections are correct and firmly in place.

Microsoft LifeChat Microphone Headset Doesn't Work Properly

You should take your headset to another computer/location and see if your problem still exists.
That way you can eliminate problems with either your computer hardware or your outgoing internet connection (jitter).
I don't think that the CD will be necessary, since it is a USB device, which contains it's own little sound card and doesn't need any drivers.
If the problem persists and it turns out to be a problem with the headset, I would definitely return/exchange it.
