My left hand side door cord has broken, how much of the machine do I need to take apart? do I need to pull the machine from under the counter top?

Hello,

Yes you will have to move from under worktop and then remove the side panel that the cord has broken. It may be worth checking the other cord and replacing both if worn. Also check if something is catching to cause the cord to break.

Hope this helped.

Eurotech Dishwasher is leaking - How to get to the guts to fix it

When a dishwasher leaks, it is usually the door seal or the water level gone wrong. Assuming the door was never leaned-on and the hinges bent, then you look to the seal or in some cases a splashshield fin that goes along the bottom between door and frame. If the unit is more than 7 or 8 years, the seal or shield plate could have lost its shape enough to allow water to get by.
The other problem, is the water level is too hi and this can be because the float switch is filled with soap scum and is heavier than normal, so the float thinks there needs to be more water than usual. Clean the float, you may need to remove a guard shroud to access the float. Goodluck, macgivor

Right hand side nylon spring cord guide broken when cord snapped and now door return has no tension.

Searched for a nylon rope guide for a Baumatic BDW 9 but was unable to locate one. I found that many of the components for the BDW 9 also fitted the BDW 10. So I searched for the rope guide for a BDW 10 and found the correct product. Problem solved!

Baumatic dishwasher BDW9

This looks to be the same problem I'm having with my dishwasher (BDW15) I have removed the control panel and have noticed the On Off button has started to burn out, thus cuasing intermitant power supply.

Solution is to replace the On Off switch with a new one, which I'm still drying to source as it's Christmas and everybody is shut.

Hope this helps

Dishwasher not draining and 3 lights are flashing

check this thread for starters http://www.fixya.com/support/t135923-dishwasher_beeping the solution to the leak would depend on where you think it is leaking from - usual areas to check are the door seal, door latch, inlet and drain hoses and where they connect, the base especially towards the back. also make sure the drain pipe the dishwasher is connected to is not blocked - sometimes leaks from in the machine can be traced to this cause. Hope this helps, post again if you find anything and hopefully we can help more :)
