I had some videos on my SanDisk and when I was watching one, i turned it off and only 5 minutes later i turned it on again and all my videos were gone! I tried reloading them back on but when I disconnected it from the computer there was still no videos on my Sandisk. My SanDisk is in very good shape and something like this has never happened before. What should I do?

If you were able to transfer the videos to your device and they are no tthere...I would recommend you to get the firmware upgrade..that should solve the problem you are having..

Songs dissapeared!

Several things. 1. To correctly reset it, flip the lock button, then hold down the power button. 2. Format your sansa. Make sure you have all your stuff off. Then, format it. If you don't know how, e-mail me here : spazzysmash@gmail.com Then sync it back on!

Can not get video to download to my sansa e250

You must download and install the Sansa Media Converter to put videos on your Sansa player. If you have lost the installation CD, you can download the software for free from Sandisk's website.

Try adding the Video when the usb mode is in "MTP". I had the same problem, but i change the type and it worked! If you don't know how to do this, just go to settings - usb mode - mtp.

Music Videos

I'm not an expert, but I do have a Sansa e250, too. Sounds like you need to download a Sansa Media Converter.

Here's the link: http://www.sandisk.com/driverdownload/download.asp?driverId=184

Once that is downloaded and installed, open it, plug your Sansa into the computer by USB cable, click "Add media". Then you should see a window that says "Add media" Select the media you want to put on your Sansa. Once the media is added, then click "Convert". After it is finished converting, it should be on your Sansa. Hope that helps!

Videos have dissapeared, but memory still gone?

I had the same problem. I updated the firmware. I then set the unit to the MSC USB type. I then went to "My Computer" and right-clicked the drive and reformat in a fat 32. I now have all available memory back.
