Re: my apple iPod will not show up on itunes and i can't...

Sorry if I'm too obvious, but are you using iTunes?

Yes? Then check your iPod settings on iTunes:
If you want to just drag songs to the iPod you have to set it to "manually manage music" on the iPod "Summary" screen.
Otherwise you need to create playlists in iTunes and synchronise your iPod to those playlists (tick them in the "Music" tab.

Of course, if you already knew all this, sorry! Maybe you have a usb port problem (try restarting computer) or an iPod problem (try resetting your iPod). NOTE: with iPods, you MUST use iTunes to transfer music to iPod, and it is NOT possible to transfer music FROM you ipod TO your computer (say you've loaded songs from someone elses computer to your iPod and you want to put them onto your computer - no can do! Use a flash drive).

How do I down load music from my computer to my ipod?

in order to do this you first have to download itunes from the apple website ( ). Then after installing you can either drag your music on to itunes or it will ask you to search for it. After you have got the music on itunes then plug-in your ipod into the computer and it will show up on itunes, from there you have to drag the music from itunes on to the ipod. Its easier to do trust me.

Need a owners manual for a Apple Ipod Model 8GB

when you hold the power button (top left) down untill the slide bar with power down shows up, then slide the slider your ipod is fully turned off. as for downloading music you already have... dont you already have it? if you purchased it under your itunes store name then yes. you can re-download as much as you want.

For one you can't download music from the computer to you iPod, that would be the other way around, You Upload music to your iPod,
In order to upload music to you iPod here are a few easy steps.
1. You can't use iPods like MP3 players e.g. drag and drop MP3 files into the drive. 2. In order to upload music to your iPod you will need to download iTunes on the Apple website.
3. When you have installed and opened iTunes the iPod will be recognized and put onto iTunes in the left sidebar. 4. Now all you need to do is put music onto iTunes and drag and drop the music in iTunes to the iPod column on the sidebar and it will sync and install the music.
Hope i have been of any help Regards

Shows no files found

Hi, Try downloading Itunes ( Which is free of cost ) and add song & video to Itunes. Then connect your ipod to computer and configure your ipod to Itunes ... then sync it...

Whenever you connect your ipod to computer it will automatically sync..

If you still need more help on the same let me know

Music wont show on Ipod, but does on Itunes

Please make sure that your music is in the proper format. It is best if it is in MP3 format. You can tell what format the music is in by right clicking on the music file and then clicking 'properties'. You can convert the files to MP3 by using the Media Player that comes with all windows computers. Hope that helps.
