Question about GE WBSE3120B Top Load Washer
Pop the top off agitator (find the split in the top and side and use a knife blade to pry off gently) and there will be a bolt that attaches the agitator to the drive shaft. Check if it's loose or the splines on the lower agitator and upper are worn. If it's not either of these, then it's probably the clutch in between the tranny and the tub. It's easy to rebuild, just like a drum brake on a car.
