How to fix the central system in place?

The fan that connects the system within the central area (main area) is lose, tried to tighten it in place unfortunately once it is plugged in it starts to make strange noises...which tells me the fan is out of place and unable to move properly!

if this fails as an explanation will have to add a video...but i hope u understand the problem i am facing.

How do I remove and replace the inverted bag filter?

Inverted filter bags can be tough to remove. The best way is to grab the bag closest to the top portion where it attaches to the canister. The bag is locked in place by a metal rings that presses out. You want to grab a portion of the bag (some bags have a holder tab) and pull towards the center. The goal is to make a C shape of the ring that is holding the bag in place. Once the bag collapse into a C shape, the bag can be removed and cleaned or replaced. The same technique is best for re-installing the new or cleaned bag.

Nutone cv750 problem

I doubt that's an electrical breaker - because it wouldn't take 10 minutes to flip, it would happen almost immediately. It must be the heat breaker. There are two reasons your vacuum system could be overheating and tripping that breaker. Either you need to replace the filter - if it's partially clogged then the motor may have to work too hard to get suction and cause it to overheat. I'd suggest checking the filter first, because that's the easy fix. If it's not the filter, then your motor is going out. You'll want to replace that. Check the filter, and let me know. I'll see if I can find a place to order a new motor for it.

I have a Beam Rugmaster Plus power head Model BM1 393 Type AB and the connection were the metal pipe meets the plastic swivel broke close to the unit. It appears like a manufacture defect in that is broke...

This is most likely repairable. Lots of the Beam parts are available. I would recommend checking out any local vacuum shop or searching online for a central vacuum store that sells beam products.

My nutone vacuum system won't shut off when I pull the hose out of the wall...any thoughts

The relay that turns the machine off from any of the several places where you connect, is probably stuck.

The relay is operated by low voltage. When you connect your hose, you comlete the low voltage circuit and energize the 110 volt system, and the machine comes on. When you pull the hose out, the relay is suppose to release.

Central Vac will not turn on.

These problems are nearly exclusively caused by a bad circut board and replacing it is the fix. Bad boards can cause many different effects so its nearly impossible to be sure. The 9v signal wire is not enough to short out an entire unit so it is unlikely the hose. If it is a direct connect system and you are pulling power from the 110 somehow that would cause main unit problems but that is unlikely at best. Sounds like a failed board to me.

If the hose is non-wired then you can fix this yourself. When you Plug the cuff into your wall inlet does the vacuum turn on automatically? If so then you should be able to trim the hose with no ill effects other than losing eight inches of cleaning area.

If the hose has a switch on it's handle that turns the vacuum on and off, you will probably need a technician to fix the hose. Some wired hoses even have High Voltage lines in them and should never be taken apart.

Broken Nutone central vacuum unit

most of those systems are plumbed with PVC, but some do use flex throughout the home...
If yours is PVC, visit your nutone dealer and get a new outlet/elbow.
Trim the old elbow off with a drywall saw or other small saw (if you have a sawsall, that is fine) and glue the new one in
if it is flex tubing, it's easier; the elbow threads on. just be sure to hold the tubing so it doesn't drop down,

Central Vac does not shut off

Sounds like the relay that is in the central vac unit is stuck to the ON position. When you plug it back in..does it start right up ? If so.. You should be able to disconnect all the receptacle feeds to the central vac unit at the central vac unit to determine which one ( if any) is calling for the vac to stay on.. if none are.. then it is internal to the vac and may be a stuck relay... Hope that gives you some ideas to check...

Do you have the same problem in all of your outlets? If you do, then there is a problem with the hose end. If it is only at one outlet, then that outlet has a problem.
