Loud clicking noise & don't read any disc

Sounds like the cd drive is cropping out.

Have you tried running a cleaning disc through it?

Try cleaning your disc with alcohol and a soft cloth. If you don't have a good clotH use tissue or toilet paper. Just maker sure you blow off the fibers that are left on the disc after you use a paper product. Hope it helps. If not by a SONY DISC PLAYER AND YOU WON'T HAVE THE PROBLEMS.

PS3 blu-ray drives are pretty problematic. The best solution is to send your ps3 back (without opening it and trying to fix it yourself (voids the warranty)) to sony. Your drive sounds broken, happened to me once before, sent it back, and now its like brand new (took a bit for them to get it back to me though)

Maybe the disc reader in the Wii is having problems, this could be natural for the Wii, but if it isn't reading the disc, then try talking to the nintendo company and ask them that there is a loud noise in the Wii when its reading discs, they should know what to do. My Wii does that sometimes, especially Super Smash Brothers Brawl, but it still works though. hope that helps.

This is too simple man.Just put the disc in properly thats all man.

mine did the same thing it just kept ticking when i wanted to play a disk, id take to top off with the four tiny little screws and hoover it, mine still makes a bit of noise but works x

I think the it is possible your UMD case is cracked and the clear part is pressing down on the disc inside. Check and pull the clear part of the case from the media disc.

From what i understand, the dvd drive can spin wonky allowing the disks to foul and cause large scratches
