My family does a bit of water skiing and when recording on my gz-MG50AA recorder, playback has fine vertical lines which are very distracting and make the picture blurry. I have tried all the settings I can think of without any success. At the moment I'm getting much better quality video with my fuji digital camera than the camcorder, which sort of defeats the purpose of having it! Any tips please?
best bet to get that video on pc 1st ok then convert it to dvd format 720x480 29.97 fps mpeg 2 use allok software online to convert then burn to dvd play perfect use nero 7 to make dvds proably is flat screen your resoution proably dont match up or the verticaly sync in hertz is higher cuses the vertical lines so do that way to make pro videos

My flip HD camera is "frozen" in the "on" state. Al;l I did was press the "on" button. Anybody have a solution. It wont respond to any buttons that I press. Wont record, wont play vids stored on camera. Wont turn off. The built-in monitor does not show a pic - rather, the monitor shows mostly all black with a few randomly distributed pixels of colors.
