My son bought me sherlock holmes the silver earing for xmas, but i am unable to save the game i dont think it down loaded properly as i have to have the disc in to play the game

Contatct the publiser for new code and also make sure you have enter the code in properly.

What does blue screen say? it normally it tells you what's causing the blue screen of death.

There are plenty of games not yet compatible with Windows 7. Check if the game that you wanted to play is compatible. If it's not, there is still a way to work around it. Right click on the program icon of the game and click on "troubleshoot compatibility" it will automatically find the best compatibility setting for that program. If you are able to start the program and run it, save that setting. You can also click on "run as administrator" it might help.

It mostly happens when there your system does not meet the requirements needed by the video game.
Just read the requirements of the game and update your pc as asked.

If it still not works just update your motherboard or graphic card driver..

That is a good idea to reinstall it because it has a option that allows you to save your saved games even though the game uninstalls
