Question about Logitech Cordless Laser Desktop MX 3000 Cordless Wireless Keyboard&Optical Mouse with Zero Degree Ti... (INKMLOMX3000)
The mouse seems to work fine and the keyboard appears to be connected. The only key that functions is the sleep button. I downloaded some software from logitech and when complete pushed lft ctrl + alt +F12 (this solution found for similar keyboard but different model) and that did not seem to work. I am somewhat stuck now and would appreciate any other ideas. Thanks.
Turn the mouse over and find the small
rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it to
Reset/Connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly.
If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud

Testimonial: "It seems that it might be defective, but I want to exhaust all other possibilities before I trash this. See, when I hit the button on the receiver, and then hit the button on the keyboard, the receiver reads the keyboard's signal, so I can't disprove the keyboard as completely defective ^__^;"

Hi. Try the troubleshooting on the following page:
If this does not fix it, you may be able to get the remote replaced by Logitech, so I would try giving them a call.
